High Pressure Counterflow Setup for Flame studies

The high pressure counterflow setup is designed for flame study in elevated pressure as high as 10 bar. Inside the pressure chamber, two identical burners are placed opposing to each other. When the premixed combustible mixtures flowing through burners are ignited, the twin flames will be established between the burners. The flame can be used to investigated its fundamental combustion characteristics including flame propagation, extinction limit, and species measurement.
